Challenge

Our strategic foresight methodology mapped drivers of change in humanitarian data, informing four distinct scenarios set in 2035. Alongside three-horizon based ideation, the drivers developed the future strategy and organization design recommendations.

Odeabank wanted a mobile app that incentivized user engagement and met new customer behaviors. But the app needed to avoid negatively impacting accessibility and seamlessness. The app also needed to serve designers and act as a guide to developers and brand managers. The challenge was to integrate multiple features (banking, wealth, investments, loyalty) in one super-app.

Incentivizing simplicity

Regular, collaborative validation sessions with prospects and clients prioritized customer needs. An atomic and modular approach ensures scalability and flexibility. A scalable DLS for the future. A pre-login engagement feature enables user interaction without signing up. Seamless onboarding and access to jargon-free info enhance user experiences. 

Setting the right balance

We created the Odea App with scalable components that are compatible with the React Native framework–making a consistent experience across touchpoints. Its minimalistic aesthetic, in the brand’s palette, is alluring and developmentally effortless. This is paired with a dark mode. This super-app puts the customer first and responds to emerging banking habits.

IoT Meets the Power Plant

Brush replacement involved intricate inspection to assess key features which, if missed, could lead to fires, offline generators or slowed electricity flow. This meant locating and inspecting as many as 200+ brushes per generator.   

Saying no to complexity

Our experts invented a novel sensor that understands and communicates details like brush length, in real time, to a custom hub, alerting when brushes need to be changed. Now, there’s no longer a need for manual inspections. Setting sights on sensors The sensor measures many other data points of the generator’s operation, alerting users to out-of-range parameters. This helps teams manage generator performance and address issues before they become catastrophic.

Today, Cutsforth’s customers can remotely monitor brush and generator health, enabling maintenance teams to proactively manage service and resource needs.
