frog partnered with Tempo, a Series B start-up on a mission to transform how companies design and bring products to market. As the world's fastest low-volume electronics manufacturer, Tempo takes the most complex circuit boards from design to desk 3-5x faster than ever before. As a customer of Tempo ourselves, and now an investor, frog helped articulate Tempo’s offering through a new brand identity, website and factory experience.

The Digital Thread Behind Industry 4.0
As an ‘Industry 4.0’ pioneer, Tempo faced challenges in communicating the meaning and benefit of the digitization of manufacturing technologies. frog helped articulate this story through a design concept called “Digital Thread,” a metaphorical representation of Tempo’s proprietary factory automation software brought to life through messaging and visuals across both digital, physical and environment assets.

Brand Experience Design
frog created an expansive brand language system for Tempo that could easily scale across their many types of customer touch points, both physical and digital. Part of this process was understanding the different journeys that each customer might undergo. frog created an end-to-end branded customer experience that consistently reinforces Tempo’s brand story and identity.
9 Weeks
The program began in November 2017 with a deep immersion into Tempo’s company, culture and customers. frog collaborated with Tempo to develop new brand and marketing assets applied to digital and physical touch points.
April 2018
Tempo launched its new brand and marketing website to the public. At this time they also reached $20M in Series B funding.
$45 Million
In May 2019, Tempo raised $45M in Series C funding, which will help the company scale its efforts in product development and further increase the speed and accuracy of its manufacturing processes.
